Item and Ancient Set Rebalance

New update is out! All players need to auto-update via Launcher. To get the auto-update, close the game, close the Launcher, and start it again. If you have problems with auto-updating, you can manually download and install Patcher. It must be unpacked into the game client folder, replacing all prompted files. During the update, all game windows should be closed.

Strength requirements for Dark Devil, Patrician, and Atlantis shields have been reduced. One-handed staffs now have similar strength requirements to shields of the same grade. Conversely, strength requirements for some mid-tier staffs and shields have been increased.

All two-handed staffs no longer require strength; instead, their energy requirements have been increased. This creates a clear distinction between one-handed and two-handed staff builds.

All two-handed swords will receive a new option: Damage Blocking — a chance to receive only half the damage from an incoming hit. This mechanic is similar to Double Damage, but in reverse. The chance depends on the sword's grade and equals 8% of it. For example, a Sword of Betrayal with a grade of 132 will grant a 10% chance to block, meaning that approximately every tenth hit will only deal half damage.

Albatross, Sylph Wind, Air Lyn, Dark Stinger, and Flaming Phoenix bows have received increased attack speed, reducing the gap between bows and crossbows.

The Phantom set now has reduced strength requirements but significantly increased agility requirements. Nightmare’s Bane has received a substantial boost in damage and grade, making it one of the best two-handed swords in the game.

Energy MG will receive a +10% bonus to Wizardry Damage when equipping staffs with the same Wizardry Damage percentage in both hands. These can be either identical or different staffs — the key is that the percentage must match on both.

With the launch of the Sparta server, Excellent Warrior Leather, Excellent Ceto Vine, and Excellent Apollod Pad sets can now be crafted with 1 or 2 Excellent options at a 50/50 chance. However, these sets can no longer be used to create the Feather of Condor.

The stats of Ancient sets have been updated. The main goals are to make the least popular sets more relevant, balance the sets across different classes, and reduce the gap between mid-grade and high-grade sets.

Some of the least popular sets — Crusted, Ali, Oblivion, and Pantheon — have received increases to damage and HP. The Prime set, in addition to high base damage, now also grants 10,000 health. We hope to see our knights donning Ancient sets once again. Shanned, Golden, and Empire have also received bonuses to damage and HP.

Loki now grants Mana instead of Skill Damage, while Jokers has lost its HP bonus but now provides 7,000 Mana. The Valiant set is now fully tailored for Energy MG.

The attributes of the following sets have been slightly improved: Warrior, Hyperion, Eplete, Berserker, Cloud, Apollo, Barnake, Emp Agnis, Broy, Hyon, Seir, Asylum, Raysen, Hydra, Primera, Ichor, and Ignored.

The Rave and Imperial sets have lost 1% Ignore, while Darkside and Mayhem have lost 1% Double Damage.

Selupan and formulas

Raklion Hatchery Event is now available in Raklion. It runs once every 18 hours. The rewards include +11 sets: Great Dragon, Dark Soul, Red Spirit, Hurricane, Dark Master. Also available are +10 sets: Dragon Knight, Venom Mist, Sylphid Ray, Volcano, Sunlight, as well as Green Mystery Box, Shard of Condor Bundle x10, and Bane of Agony. One boss can drop from 1 to 5 items, depending on luck.

The event is divided into stages. First, the Hatchery gates open, and you need to destroy the Spider Eggs. Once they are destroyed, Selupan will appear, and the passage to him will remain open for 15 minutes. After that, the gates will close, preventing new players from joining. Those who remain inside will have another 15 minutes to defeat the boss. If they fail, the event will end.

Selupan can regenerate health, teleport, use different skills, and summon minions. The battle with him will be a true challenge and will require teamwork. Additionally, Raklion is now a free PvP zone, so you can expect large-scale PvP battles before the gates close.

A separate formula has been added for calculating combo damage for Energy MG when using Mana Rays as the second skill (a skill available only with a staff): 50% Str + 120% Ene + 1% Hp + 60% Mana. The formula for wizardry damage from Mana for Energy MG has also been improved.

The attack speed of all characters has been reduced by 10%, depending on agility. All debuffs affecting HP potion consumption have become slightly more effective. The Cold effect from Strike of Destruction now also slows down potion usage, with the strongest impact on warriors.

Now, five debuffs can be active on a character at the same time: Fireslash from MG reduces defense, Poison drains HP and reduces potion recovery, Ice, Ice Arrow, and Strike of Destruction slow down potion usage. Debuffs are felt most strongly by warriors and least strongly by elves.

At the request of players, Mana Shield is now applied to the entire party with a single click.

The monster handler on Endless Tower has been updated. Their spawn coordinates are now more randomized, which should help resolve the issue of waves getting stuck.

Eurale's defense has been increased, meaning it will now take more time to defeat her. Monsters in Loren Deep have been updated—they now move and are scattered throughout the location.

The cost of crafting the Basilisk Sword has been increased, now you will need 10x Gemstones, 10x Jewel of Goldsmith and 1x Jewel of Ancient Harmony.

The /ping command has been added to the game to check the quality of your connection to the server.

Game Fixes

3. Party Experience: The party experience calculation was way off before, but now it’s spot on!
4. Devil Square Timing: The opening time for the Devil Square event is now correct, so no more surprises.
5. Boss Battle Times: The start time for Boss Battles is now displayed correctly in the Event Info Window.
6. Master Level Corruption: We’ve fixed an issue where your Master Level could get corrupted after monster kills.
7. Experience Split: Experience is now shared more fairly among parties, especially when attacking the same monsters.
8. Mastery Seals: Default values have been corrected for Mastery Seals, making leveling more balanced.
9. Item ToolTip Issues: No more freezing when your Item ToolTip gets too long!
10. Kanturu Event Crash: We fixed the game server crash during the Kanturu Event.
11. Upgrade Issues: You can now upgrade Flag or Rapidvolt using the Emperor without any problems.
12. Skill Balancing: We’ve adjusted the damage for the 5th skill of Light Wizard to balance it with other classes.
